Last Thursday, we finished the St. Tikhon's Seminary student iconostasis. The icons pictured are placeholders until the new ones come in around Christmas time, and the doors will be installed at a later date.
Upon request, we used some of the original lumber taken from the walls of St. Tikhon's during a recent renovation. We use that to make a custom wood top for the proskomide cabinet (table). The face frame and doors of the cabinet were genuine mahogany stained to match the new, incoming altar table.
A big thank you to George Weis from Theophany Works for assisting with the installation and to Fr. John Parker, Dean of St. Tikhon's Seminary, for this opportunity to serve the seminary.
