Hey there! We’re Josh and Michelle, the owners of Tortuga Roofing and proud Lago locals!
Tortuga Roofing may be new, but our experience in roofing isn’t — we bring over 18 years of combined industry experience! With a pretty simple philosophy: take care of people first, we believe in honest inspections, fair pricing, and fixing things when they can be fixed. That means no repair minimums and no pressure to replace a roof that still has life left in it. If a repair will do the job, we’ll tell you. We believe in taking care of our neighbors and doing work we’re proud to stand behind. With Josh being able to handle most repairs himself, it allows us to pass the savings on to you!
We primarily serve Lago Vista, Jonestown, and Point Venture, but we’re always happy to help homeowners in the Austin and surrounding areas as well! Unsure? Give us a call!
Why the name Tortuga? Other than our love for all things turtle and tortoise, we thought about how just like a tortoise’s shell protects it, your roof protects everything inside your home. Our motto says it best:�
“We’ll protect your shell!”
We both grew up in and around the area, and Michelle remembers going to Jones Brothers for the first time when she was about 12. We bought our first home here in 2020 and love raising our family in this community.
We have three daughters in the Lago Vista school district — our oldest is a cheerleader and soccer player, our middle little lady is a ballerina and our youngest is also a cheerleader with maybe a future in Karate. When we’re not up on a roof, you’ll usually find us at community events, enjoying lake and park days, or attempting to teach the kids the proper backflip technique off the boat.
Around here, neighbors look out for neighbors — and we look out for their shells.
