Mount Shasta is a stratovolcano at the southern end of the Cascade Range in Siskiyou County, California. At an elevation of 14,179 ft, it is the second-highest peak in the Cascades, the fifth-highest in the state, and the 34th-highest in the United States. 🗻
Another point of interest about Mt. Shasta is the mountain’s sheer volume. Mountains usually earn fame for their height, and while Mt. Shasta is tall, what is especially interesting is how large it is. The mountain holds about 85 to 120 cubic miles, making it the most voluminous stratovolcano in the Cascade Volcanic Arc, even bulkier than Mount Rainier! In fact, it is so big and tall that it is visible from 140 miles away! 🌄
Inspired by the wild grandeur of this iconic mountain, Anderson Design Group's studio artists handcrafted vintage travel poster art of the peak. A fitting and aesthetic decoration piece, this retro artwork is available as a puzzle, print, canvas, postcard, notecard, or metal sign. 🖼
