Walland Project Update

The driveway is fully cut in and ready for gravel! Next up, we’ll be bringing in gravel and getting the house seat cut as we prepare for the next phase of construction.

Things are starting to take shape out here, and we’re excited to keep this one moving!

Big progress at Miller’s Landing today! 🏗️

The basement slab is officially poured, bringing us another major step closer to getting this custom home out of the ground. With the foundation walls complete and the slab in, we’re getting ready to move into the next phase and start seeing this home really take shape as our framing package drops next week!

There’s nothing like watching months of planning turn into something you can finally stand on.

We’re excited to share the newest rendering for our 836 Country Lane custom home! 🏡

We officially break ground next Tuesday, and we’re ready to watch this one go from plans and renderings to reality. This is going to be a special build from start to finish.

Huge shoutout to Alisa with GrayRek Design+Build for handling the plans, design, and details behind the scenes. Having everything thought through and put together the right way makes our job in the field that much smoother.

Big jobs are rolling, which means our subs are handling most of the work right now — giving our crew another opportunity to knock out a side project this week.

Thanks to Hunter Floyd for the work, we got started Tuesday on this new 6’ privacy fence for Tennessee Vols starting defensive tackle Daevin Hobbs. 🍊🏈

Always cool getting the opportunity to work for people in our community, and even better when we get to do a little work for one of the guys representing Tennessee on Saturdays.

From custom homes and remodels to the smaller projects in between, we’re staying busy and keeping the crew moving.

This one deserves more than just a before & after.

Piedmont started with the most extensive cleanup we’ve taken on to date. Once the fire-damaged property was cleared out and opened up, we realized just how much rebuilding was ahead of us.

Units 3 & 4 had to be completely reframed on the interior. We reframed an entire back wall, rebuilt major portions of the roof and structure, and at one point you could stand inside and look straight through the building—or up at the sky.

From there, we rebuilt it piece by piece: framing, roofing, windows, siding, MEPs, insulation, drywall, flooring, kitchens, bathrooms and finishes.

What you see at the end is four finished units brought back to life.

The before and after speaks for itself, but everything that happened between those two pictures is what we’re most proud of.

With all the work on our larger projects currently in the hands of our subcontractors, our crew had the chance to knock out this side project—a freestanding carport with a mono-slope roof. From start to finish, we had it completed in just under three days!

No matter the size of the project, we’re always ready to get to work.

Another milestone at Miller’s Landing! 🏗️

Waterproofing is officially complete and we’re ready to keep pushing forward on this custom home.

Huge shoutout to Tennessee Valley Waterproofing for getting it done. Between the storms, rain, and unpredictable East Tennessee weather, their crew kept working and made sure the job was done right. We appreciate the hard work and commitment to keeping this project moving.

Next up: backfill, site work, and getting ready to start going vertical. 👊
