Call a company or fill out online information. That company, (FYI; MOST HOME IMPROVEMENT COMPANIES IN OUR AREA THAT CLAIM TO BE LOCAL ARE IN FACT NOT) will set up a time and date to send an “expert’ to your house to give you a “free consultation” with “no obligation at all” and should only take about 20 minutes of your time. These companies have incredibly high turnover rates and that “expert” (sales guy) on
average has only been with the company less than three months. These companies train their “experts” (sales guy) a system to make them appear to know what they are talking about. This training is about 4 days long. Chances are that “expert” (sales guy) was flipping burgers a month before! Now this “expert” (sales guy) comes to your house, He has been trained to run a sales program on you. From the knock at your door, till he leaves, EVERYTHING HE DOES IS
SCRIPTED!! That 20 minutes of your time turns into 3-4 hours and in the end you find that “free consultation” and “no obligation to buy” turns into a high pressure sales tactic designed to get you to sign their work order right then. These “experts” (sales guy) are trained to not leave your house until 1
of 2 things happens: you sign the paper, or you kick him out of your house. CHOICE #2
Hire “Bill” down the road to do the job for you. (That really needs no further detail). CHOICE #3
Finally your third choice is to “do it yourself”. But

that will never be even a penny more than it should be.
