“Casa Dolce Casa”
Home Sweet Home … in Italian for this family. They fell in love with the Italian style after multiple trips to Italy so deeply that they had to have it in their own home.
After many meetings, drawings, discussions and renderings. The outdated kitchen and dining room were completely gutted from the floor to the ceiling. We centered the opening from kitchen to dining and opened the wall from kitchen to den to 10’0” wide with brick arches. The unused dining room was converted to a much needed butlers pantry complete with w**e storage, tons of cabinet storage for all of the cooking and entertaining they do and a swanky bar sink for cocktails and easy access.
The floor tile was imported from Italy and the cabinets are custom coffee colored knotty hickory from which did amazing job. All of the light fixtures are on dimmers to set the mood and the honed counters and brick backsplash bring it all together making ready for this fam to begin the next chapter of there home and this time in…. “Stile Italiano! Che Bello!” Italian style! How beautiful!
I love my job! And I learned some Italian along the way.
