Yesterday was another example of why experience matters—and what the cheapest bid can sometimes get you.

I went out to address a home inspection punch list for a new home purchase. What you see in the before photos wasn’t caught by the home inspector either. This small installation had at least five code violations and created a serious electrical hazard.

Every now and then I hear that my price is higher than someone else’s & that's okay. I will not price my work around people doing work like this.

My pricing allows me to operate a legitimate, insured business, live a quality life, use the proper tools and materials, and provide my clients with quality electrical installations designed to last a lifetime.

After 25+ years in this trade, I thought I had seen it all until I came to East Tennessee. Earlier in my career, I was sought after for custom homes, historic homes, log and timber-frame homes, and recording studios. Today, a good portion of my business is fixing work that wasn’t done correctly the first time.

Sometimes saving a few hundred dollars upfront means paying someone else to come back and do it all over again.

If you’re looking for the cheapest electrician, I’m not your guy. If you’re looking for the most expensive, I’m probably not your guy either. But if you want 25 years of experience, proper pricing, quality workmanship, and a business that will still be here to stand behind its work—I’m 100% your guy.

The before-and-after photos speak for themselves.

A panel upgrade is about more than just new breakers—it's about peace of mind. ⚡️🔌

When we perform a service upgrade, we aren't just swapping boxes. We're inspecting every connection, ensuring proper grounding, and organizing the wiring so it's as neat as it is safe. As the KUB linemen have told our customers, "we are 1 of 2 companies they would recommend and that they are in great hands". 🏠⭐

Another clean electric vehicle charger install in the books! What sets us apart is how clean we do our work, we don't take shortcuts, and we know the proper steps to ensure the finishes of your home are left intact during our installs. We pre-drilled all the old shake siding before screwing into it so none of it split. Many people would not have known to do that and split the old shake siding. We also previously installed our premium whole home search protector at this location. That can also be seen in the photos.

We take pride in all we do. That includes our vehicles. All cleaned up and ready for the next round of rain 😆.

Another panel upgrade in the books. We also received another wonderful 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ review. What makes this one extra special is the compliment the KUB lineman stated about us to the homeowner. This lineman sees it all everyday and we are 1 of 2 companies they recommend!!

🔌 Sometimes your home just needs a refresh!

We recently helped a wonderful customer update their home by replacing outlets, switches, bathroom exhaust fan/light combos, light fixtures, and ceiling fans. We also upgraded select areas with modern wireless switches and outlets for added convenience. Also for their convenience we added fan speed controls and to help set the ambience we added some dimmers.

The best part? When we replace outlets and switches, we're not just swapping devices—we're also inspecting the wiring behind them and correcting any issues we find to help keep your home safe and functioning properly.

If your home could use an electrical refresh, give us a call. Small upgrades can make a big difference!

We keep things clean and neat. Here's a bathroom exhaust fan with a light upgrade. No damage to the ceiling or drywall removed. With the room covered in plastic we left it as clean as we found it.
