Maker Building Company – Knoxville, TN
Maker Building Company is looking for a dependable, experienced skilled tradesman with strong electrical knowledge to join our residential remodeling and construction team.
We’re looking for someone who is highly capable with residential electrical work but is also comfortable jumping into other trades when needed. This is not an electrical-only position. Our projects vary from day to day, and we want someone who enjoys being a well-rounded tradesman.
Ideal experience includes:
• Strong residential electrical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
• Running circuits, installing devices, fixtures, panels, and other residential electrical work
• General carpentry and framing
• Drywall and trim work
• Basic plumbing
• Remodeling and repair work
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and figure things out without constant supervision
We’re looking for someone who:
• Takes pride in doing quality work
• Is dependable and shows up when expected
• Can work independently
• Pays attention to details
• Keeps a clean and organized jobsite
• Communicates well with homeowners and coworkers
• Is willing to help wherever needed rather than saying, “That’s not my trade”
• Has reliable transportation and their own basic hand tools
We have a steady workload and are looking for someone interested in becoming a long-term part of our team, not just picking up occasional work.
Pay: Competitive and based on experience and ability.
If you’re a strong electrical tradesman who can also handle general residential construction and remodeling work, we’d like to hear from you.
To apply: Send us a brief description of your experience, the trades you’re strongest in, and your contact information.
