This homeowner had no outdoor water access, so we added two new hose spigots to make things way more functional outside.

🚽 Your toilet can handle a lot… but not THIS 😅

Baby wipes, Q-tips, and hair are some of the most common things we see causing clogged drains and sewer backups. Even wipes labeled “flushable” can get hung up in your plumbing and create major blockages over time.

Your plumbing system is really only designed for toilet paper and human waste. Everything else? That’s where expensive problems start.

Joe’s drain tip of the day 👇

If you’re using drain cleaner, make sure it’s septic-safe and drain-safe. Green Gobbler is one option you can usually find at Home Depot, Lowe’s, or most supply stores.

Why does it matter?

Harsh chemicals can be rough on your pipes and your septic system. A safer product can help with buildup from hair, soap scum, grease, and gunk without being as aggressive.

It’s great for maintenance, but if your drain keeps backing up, it’s time to have it checked.

After a long week of plumbing calls, crawlspaces, water heaters, drain lines, and running all over Knoxville… Joe remembered it’s a 3 day weekend 😂🇺🇸

Friendly Neighborhood Plumber will be CLOSED Monday in observance of Memorial Day as we spend time with family and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice. ❤️🤍💙
