East Tennessee lost one of its brightest lights today. 💔

Dolly Parton was so much more than an incredible singer. She represented so much of what makes East Tennessee special. She was kind, generous, funny, faithful, and always willing to help others.

Her music reached people all over the world, but she never forgot where she came from or the people who called these mountains home.

Thank you, Dolly, for making East Tennessee so proud and for leaving this world better than you found it. Your music, kindness, and legacy will continue for generations. 🦋

Plumber’s unpopular opinion: 👀

Those “flushable” wipes don’t belong in your toilet, no matter what the package says.

Unlike toilet paper, most wipes don’t break down quickly after they are flushed. They can collect inside your pipes, combine with grease and other debris, and eventually cause stubborn clogs or backups. If you have an older plumbing system or a septic tank, they can create even bigger problems.

The easiest rule to remember? Only flush toilet paper and what naturally belongs in the toilet. Everything else, including wipes labeled “flushable,” should go in the trash can.

Your plumbing and your plumber will thank you. 😂🔧

What a fun way to start our Friday!

This morning, Friendly Neighborhood Plumber had the chance to give away FREE coffee at Intrepid Nitro Coffee and Tea Bar and show a little love to our Hardin Valley neighbors.

A huge thank you to the Intrepid Nitro crew for welcoming us in and letting us take over the coffee tab for a bit. ☕️

And seriously, THANK YOU to all of our friends, customers and neighbors who stopped by to see us. Seeing so many familiar faces this morning made my day.

Are tankless water heaters really worth it, or are they just overhyped? 👀

Tankless can be a great investment if you:
