Had some fun with the planer today. Turned some beautiful heart pine and hemlock 2x8s and 2x6s into a dozen really incredible floating shelf or mantle boards. This is without any finish, just the raw wood coming out behind the rustic weathered board. 😳😍-The saw marks really shine. Some of these had been burnt at one time. Those turned out the best!
