Today we recognize the men and women who keep the lights on.
On National Lineman Appreciation Day, we want to thank the dedicated lineworkers who face long hours, dangerous conditions, and challenging environments to restore power and keep our communities running.
At East Coast Lines, we are proud to stand alongside these hardworking professionals who make safety, teamwork, and service their priority every day.
Stay safe, and thank you for everything you do.

n our industry, safety always starts with the fundamentals.
Before any work begins, lines must be isolated, tested, and properly grounded. These steps are critical to protecting our crews and the public from electrical hazards. Electricity doesn’t forgive mistakes, and taking the time to follow proper procedures ensures everyone goes home safe at the end of the day.
Another hazard that is often overlooked is stored energy. When a tree or other object is resting on a line, it can hold tension and energy that may release unexpectedly once it’s moved. Without proper isolation, testing, and grounding, that stored energy can turn into a serious hazard in seconds.
At East Coast Lines, safety isn’t just a policy—it’s a responsibility we carry for our crews, our communities, and the families waiting for us at home.
⚡ Isolate. Test. Ground.
Because the job isn’t done until everyone gets home safely.

Proper roadside setup is one of the most critical safety practices in the overhead electrical industry. ⚡🚧
When crews are working near roadways, the right traffic control plan protects not only our linemen but also the traveling public. Cones, signs, flaggers, and properly positioned equipment create a safe work zone that allows crews to focus on the job at hand.
At East Coast Lines, every roadside setup is done with safety in mind—because protecting our crews and the communities we serve is always the top priority.

Safety is never the result of one person—it’s the result of a team working together with focus, communication, and trust.
At East Coast Lines, every safe job is built on the teamwork between linemen, operators, groundmen, and supervisors who look out for one another every step of the way. When everyone is committed to the same goal, safety becomes part of the culture.
Great teams don’t just get the job done—they make sure everyone goes home safely at the end of the day.
