It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved colleague, friend, and master of his craft, Bradley Hawks.
Bradley was a crucial pillar of the Lawrence Plumbing family, playing an indispensable role in our company's early growth and success. He was our crucial third hire, rising up to become a lead plumber. He proudly became our first employee to earn his Tennessee plumbing license. He pioneered a path of professional excellence that inspired more Lawrence Plumbing team members to achieve their licensing this past year.
Beyond his incredible plumbing skills, Bradley was our go-to fabrication guy. He was incredibly resourceful, possessed a brilliant knack for problem-solving, and could fix just about anything. He had a unique gift for seeing value where others didn't, and it quickly became the running shop joke: "What would Bradley find and repurpose this week?" He was a master at turning one man’s trash into a true treasure—if someone was needing to get rid of something, Bradley was your man. A 1940s boat, or a massive entertainment center? No problem!
He brought so much joy to the shop with his laughter and fun-to-be-with personality, but above all, Bradley had a massive heart. He was known to help others whenever they were in need, always stopping what he was doing to step up—whether that meant saving the day when my truck broke down on the side of the road, or being the first to volunteer to assist a customer with an after-hours plumbing emergency. We all remember when he rescued two ferrets and brought them home to surprise his family with new pets.
We will always cherish the great memories from our Lawrence Plumbing outings. I will personally cherish the fishing outing where Bradley caught a massive striped bass, to camping in Cades Cove and riding horses through the mountains with our families. Though, truth be told, we all know he was more comfortable riding on the back of a Harley than a horse. 🏍️ 💨
When Bradley moved from Knoxville to West Tennessee in 2025, he left a big empty space in our daily shop life, and was missed. Even though distance separated us, having AJ continue to run our office remotely kept us feeling connected. Bradley is now deeply missed.
He leaves behind a beautiful family who loves him dearly. His bride AJ, our beloved Lawrence Plumbing office manager, along with his kids, grandkids, extended family, and countless friends, will miss him beyond words.
Our thoughts, prayers, and deepest condolences are with AJ and the entire family during this incredibly difficult time.
Rest in peace, Bradley. You are still so deeply loved and missed. 🛠️🕊️
