🌱 The garden is just getting started, and we couldn’t be more excited! 🌱
We’ve been watching this year’s crop grow, and our first watermelon is finally off the vine! 🍉
It weighed 52 pounds, measured 26 inches long, and 36 inches around… and believe it or not, that’s just a baby by our standards! We’ve got more on the vines, and we’re expecting even bigger ones before the season is over.
The seeds from this watermelon should be cleaned, dried, and ready in a week or two. If you’d like to get a head start on next year’s garden, keep an eye on the page!
🎃 We also harvested two Lunga Di Nepali type Italian Winter Squash. We haven’t weighed them yet, but they’re big—and there are two more still growing! We’ll have whole squash available, or you can purchase seeds to grow your own.
🍅 The tomatoes are producing like crazy! We’ve already started freezing them because we can’t keep up. Current varieties include:
• Roma
• Beefsteak
• Sweetie
• Tutti Frutti cherry tomatoes
🫐 And the elderberries have been incredible this year! We’re working on our third harvest and already have about 12 pounds in the freezer.
Harvest season is in full swing, and there’s so much more to come. If you’re interested in seeds, produce, or want to follow along as these giants continue to grow, stick around—we’re just getting warmed up!
Built to Blaze. Planted to Produce. 🌱🔥
