Breaking ground on a new house pad! 🏡

Started stripping back the topsoil today to get down to good, solid ground. Getting the organic material out is the first step to a pad that won't settle on you down the road. Doing it right from the dirt up.

Knocked out the finish grade on this new build today. 💪

Pad’s shaped, slope is pulled away from the foundation like it should be, and the driveway subgrade is smooth and ready for forms. Nothing fancy about dirt work done right — it just means the concrete sits flat and the water goes where you want it instead of where it wants to.

Big thanks to the builder for trusting us with it.
