⚡ Don’t Forget to Check Your Breakers ⚡

We’ve received numerous calls over the weekend from customers who were without power but did not have a real outage.

Before assuming it’s an outage, don’t forget to please check your breaker panel first, if it’s safe to do so. Cold weather and power fluctuations can cause breakers to trip.

If resetting your breaker does not restore power, please report an outage at 855.959.2496. ⚡️ Our crews are on call and responding 24/7 to keep the lights and heaters on!

Improper generator use can be extremely dangerous.

Never connect a generator to your home’s wiring or plug it into a wall outlet — this can cause backfeeding and seriously injure or kill lineworkers.

✔️ Use generators outdoors only
✔️ Keep them far from windows, doors & vents
✔️ Never operate in garages or enclosed spaces

Please use generators safely during outages. Stay safe & warm!

As the day draws to a close, we're reminding Generator owners of critical maintenance tasks.
After inspecting and preparing units for potential severe weather, we've identified key areas to focus on:
1. Fuel line inspections using a bubble-forming liquid to detect leaks.
2. Monitoring for signs of leaks, including coolant, oil, and diesel fuel.
3. Testing unit functionality through simulated outages to ensure proper operation.
Our team is committed to getting all units online. By following these guidelines, you can help minimize disruptions during power outages.

🧊 🥶 Texas Hillcountry, this is a notice from Mayhall Electrical Solutions.
As part of our preparations for the cold snap, we will be out and about continuing our inspections on 50+ standby generators on Thursday and Friday, and provide additional electrical support as needed.

Our service area for these two days includes Kerr, Kimble, Gillespie, Kendall, Real and Uvalde counties.

Generator owners are urged to verify their units' maintenance status, including oil levels, coolant levels and batteries and test run their generators.
If issues arise, our team is committed to providing prompt assistance and getting your systems operational. We have specialized expertise in Generac units.

Kerrville Daily Times Best Of has officially kicked off so we thought we would take a little time to tell you about Jon's background and qualifications and what we offer today!

- Started out as an Apprentice with Priour Electric in 2004.
- Became a Journeyman Electrician in 2009.
- Went to his first Solar Training in March 2010.
- Became a Master Electrician in 2017.
- Started Mayhall Electrical Solutions in 2022.
- Became a CERTIFIED Generac Installer, Dealer and Technician in 2023/2024.
- Certified in several different Battery Companies.

Jon literally started from the bottom and is still working his way to the top today... I would say he has reached the top, but he is always learning something new, getting certified in something different and committed to constantly keeping up to date with the ever evolving times.

Mayhall Electrical is committed to providing excellent service and will NEVER upsell or try to get you to buy something that is not necessary for your needs! Always make sure to do your research when hiring someone for your project... no matter the size.
