After noticing water dripping from her toilet tank, this Grand Haven homeowner shut the water off right away. Once we went out to take a look, we found the tank itself was cracked. With an older toilet, a crack like that can’t be repaired and will only get worse over time. Even small cracks can lead to ongoing leaks, water damage, and bigger issues down the road.

We replaced it with a new Ge**er Viper toilet so she can have a reliable setup without worrying about cracks or leaks!

Mapping out a drainage plan starts with knowing exactly where your underground lines run, and that’s where a camera inspection can really help.

Meredith called our team out to take a closer look at the private manhole on her property to see how the storm line connects out to the street. Using our camera, we mapped the storm line all the way to the city’s portion of the system at 143 feet, marked the cast‑iron and PVC sections, and traced the gutters to confirm how everything ties together.

The good news is that our tech found the pipes were in good shape. With everything clearly marked, Meredith now has the information she needs to move forward confidently with her drainage plan.

A basement backup is never fun! This Grand Rapids homeowner thought a rubber ball might’ve fallen into the drain. Once our tech got on site, he discovered the real issue using the camera: a test plug had dropped into the main line and was blocking the flow.

Using a retrieval tip on the Spartan, he cleared the line and pulled out the chain and test plug that were causing the backup. Once they were removed, flow and peace of mind was restored!

A Grand Rapids homeowner reached out after his upstairs shower became clogged and started draining really slowly. Even after trying Drano, nothing changed.

When Cam arrived, he ran a 50‑foot flex shaft through the tub drain to break up the clog and clean the line. What came back up? Some hair and a hair tie that had been sitting in the pipe. Once everything was cleared, the drain started flowing the way it should.

A clogged toilet, a few septic pumps, and gurgling drains later, our team discovered that the drainage field at this Grand Rapids home wasn’t keeping up the way it should. That led us to re‑route the sump and discharge line so water could move safely away from the house instead of backing up toward it.

We trenched through the yard to install a bubbler pot and tied the new line into the existing piping. Now the sump pump has a reliable path to send water out, giving the home peace of mind during heavy rains.

This wasn’t something that happened overnight. It took communication, teamwork, and trust between our crew and the homeowner to make sure the solution was the right one. We’re grateful for the homeowners who trust us with their homes and the work we do every day!
