From bare backyard to full-on outdoor living space! 🏡✨
Swipe through to see this Lake Forest, WA backyard's full transformation. We started with a full demo — old concrete slab, stump grinding, and a small roof structure removed — cleared the site, and relocated an existing tree to the front yard to open things up.
From there we built a custom trussed patio cover, centered right on the home's slider door, with:
🔹 Vaulted cedar tongue-and-groove soffit ceiling at a 4/12 pitch 🔹 Two skylights for natural light, flanked by doubled trusses 🔹 Black hardware, white gutters with downspouts, and black soffit vents 🔹 5 recessed can lights + a ceiling fan on remote, plus 2 Bromic infrared heaters for year-round comfort.
Underneath, we installed a 20'11" TERRAIN composite deck in Natural White Oak with Dark Oak fascia and border accents, mitered corners, and hidden camo fasteners — finished with a picture-framed stair (4' wide, dark oak risers, white treads) landing on a Belgard paver pad.
Wrapping it all in is black aluminum picket railing with a matching gate, surface-mounted with riser lighting for evening ambiance.
One more backyard turned into a space this family will actually want to live in. 🙌
