Paws n' Portraits Day is happening, for a limited time, November 8 & 9!

This is basically school picture day, but for dogs! I'll be doing quick 15-minute portrait sessions in the Paws and Pixels studio, with a head-and-shoulders portrait of your dog, just like a human portrait.

Here's what you get:

• 15-minute studio session
• 1 pup portrait
• 1 "Card Size" digital file (for prints up to 4x6)
• $30 off your next full photoshoot!

The fun part is, the more dogs who sign up, the cheaper the session will be for everyone!

3 dogs: $85 each
4 dogs: $80 each
5 dogs: $75 each
6 dogs: $70 each
7 dogs: $65 each
8+ dogs: $60 each

So invite your friends! The final price is based on the total number of dogs signed up.

A few things to know:

Prices are before sales tax. Credit card payments have a 3% surcharge. Cash, check, and Venmo are accepted with no additional fees. Payment is due by the start of your session.

A notice will be sent out before the day of the shoot letting you know how many dogs are signed up and what your final session price will be.

Dogs must be up-to-date on vaccines and free of communicable diseases.

If your pup is too scared or excitable to get a portrait, we'll try again at no cost at the next available Paws n' Portraits Day.

Full-size digital images, prints, and additional editing are available for purchase separately.

Thinking back to when Sony wrote an article about a photo I took! I definitely wasn't expecting Sony to reach out to me and interview me. How fun!

When an old precious image is so old that it's warped, faded, discolored, and won't fit in a modern frame, it's not hopeless! ✨
For this image, it was large and curved, so there was no way to scan it the usual way. Out came the camera, lights, and tripod. Several photos had to be taken, to ensure each part of the photo was in focus.
With the image digitized, then began the work of correcting the contrast, sharpening details, and extending the image so it would fit in a frame.
The work was finished with a professionally print using pigment-based ink, that will last for years to come!
