We ARE NOW HIRING!!!

Job Title: Concrete Finisher

Malott Contracting Inc. is a family-owned company known for delivering high-quality concrete work across large-scale projects. With a strong reputation for craftsmanship, dedication, and teamwork, we are looking to grow our crew with a skilled Concrete Finisher who takes pride in their work and thrives in a fast-paced, professional environment.

Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years of hands-on concrete finishing experience on large-scale projects such as curbs, sidewalks, streets, slabs, or similar flatwork.

Responsibilities:
• Perform concrete finishing for large-scale jobs with a focus on quality and precision
• Set and strip formwork as needed for curb, sidewalk, and street pours
• Smooth, level, edge, and joint freshly poured concrete using hand and power tools
• Read and follow project plans and layout (preferred but not required)
• Work efficiently as part of a crew to meet deadlines
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
• Follow all safety procedures and site-specific requirements
• Assist with general labor duties as needed

Required Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years of concrete finishing experience on large-scale projects
• Must have own basic hand tools: trowel, tool belt, hammer, etc.
• Familiarity with finishing techniques and use of concrete tools
• Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and a reliable work ethic
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience reading blueprints is a plus
