Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Experienced HVAC Technician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical systems. Your expertise will ensure optimal operation of HVAC equipment across various properties, delivering comfort and efficiency to our clients. Duties
Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment with precision and attention to detail
Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions
Perform routine maintenance on HVAC/R equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend system lifespan
Conduct electrical testing using tools such as ohmmeters to identify faults within mechanical or electrical components
Utilize skills for repairs involving metal components or ductwork as needed
Troubleshoot plumbing issues related to HVAC systems and ensure proper integration with building infrastructure
Operate a company vehicle safely to transport equipment or parts between job sites
Repair appliances and mechanical systems associated with property maintenance projects
Follow safety protocols diligently when working with refrigerants such as Freon to ensure compliance with environmental standards
Document all service activities thoroughly in reports and logs for future reference and compliance purposes
Requirements
Proven experience as an HVAC service technician with a strong background in construction, mechanical knowledge, and field service operations
Demonstrated ability to read schematics, HVAC design plans, and technical manuals accurately
Hands-on experience with refrigeration systems is highly desirable
Knowledge of plumbing systems related to HVAC applications and property maintenance is essential
Familiarity with HVAC/R equipment repair, boiler operation, appliance repair, welding techniques, and general maintenance practices
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for safe transportation between sites
Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively in troubleshooting electrical issues
Strong mechanical aptitude combined with excellent problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients
