Hey everyone!! I thought I’d finally make a post to update you on what’s been happening over here at Rosie Roots! Our farm got hit pretty hard with flooding just before Christmas. I was still in the middle of digging and dividing dahlias when I had to switch into flood prep mode and move everything out of the way in case the water came into the house (it did! 😭) So I had to turn my focus from flower farm tasks to getting my house back in order. Insurance claims, contractors, and lots of clean up, with Christmas and exciting Seahawk football mixed in, we made it work and are finally back to normal. Well except my field. That’s still a bit of a mess. So if you’ve been wondering where I’ve been… now you know. I needed a bit of a mental break as well. I’m unsure if I will be selling dahlia tubers online this year but stay tuned. I will be having an in person sale with some friends so I really hope to see all of you locals at that! I had some other plans for my farm this coming season but with all that happened, I need to adjust a bit but I know it will still be a beautiful growing season and the stand will still be stocked with gorgeous bouquets this summer! Thank you for sticking around. Back to regularly scheduled updates soon!

Ok final push of dahlia tubers for this weekend! I have some great ones left and have them priced at an insanely good deal. Not Home Depot prices but unlike HD, you get me as your dahlia bff that will help you with all things from planting to digging them back up and dividing in the fall!!! 🌸💕 and did you know that the big box stores import theirs and a lot of the time they are mislabeled and have a disease?! 🦠
So best to support your local flower farms if you can (just my opinion though! 😘)
They make a great gift for the mamas in your life who love to garden. And lucky for you I have them packed up in some awesome variety packs. Add a pair of gardening gloves and a cute pair of garden snips and boom 💥 you have an awesome Mother’s Day gift!!
Dahlia tubers produce so many flowers and will keep pushing out blooms the more you cut so it’s honestly the gift that keeps on giving! 🥰

It feels weird to post an update on this page….
I kept this up and running because I thought that after my kids got a little older (they are 3 now! 🤯)
I would ease my way back into offering classes again. As much as I miss seeing all of you and truly feeling like I provided a good experience and fun classes, I have decided that I’m not going to be offering classes again. At least not anytime soon. Never say never, I guess! Thank you all for the fun times and keeping me busy when I was hosting parties. It was truly a time in my life that I will never forget. 🫶🏻💕
My life now is occupied with raising toddlers 🤪 iykyk! and being a stay at home/ work from home mom. I also decided to start a flower farm 😆 which has filled the creativity void for me. 🌸💐
I wish all of you the best and hope you continue to get out and be creative!

My family is hurting right now. This is the hardest thing any of us have been through and life will never be the same. My cousin was one of a kind. The outpouring of love and support from this community and well beyond has been so amazing. Thank you doesn’t seem like enough but please know that we see and feel the love.
