When you're thinking about an exterior refresh, it's easy to focus on the main areas of your home and forget about the garage. 🏡

Garage doors, trim, siding, fascia, and other exterior details can make a bigger impact on your home's overall appearance than you might realize. Giving these overlooked areas the same attention as the rest of your exterior can help create a more cohesive, finished look.

Have a garage that could use a refresh? Contact LIME Painting of DFW to learn more about our exterior painting and restoration services: https://limepainting.com/dfw/free-estimate/

Sherwin-Williams' new 2027 Colormix® Trend Forecast, Rewild, features 48 handpicked hues designed to be mixed, layered, and interpreted in your own way. Instead of prescribing a specific palette, the forecast encourages homeowners to experiment with color and create spaces that feel personal and lived-in. Sherwin-Williams

The collection is organized into three design stories:
🌿 Revive — nostalgia, craftsmanship, and timeless details
🔥 Reignite — bold color, creativity, and self-expression
🌱 Reconnect — nature, organic influences, and wellness

Whether you love rich, moody colors, warm neutrals, or bringing natural inspiration indoors, there's plenty of room to make the 2027 forecast your own.

Sometimes, a beautiful transformation starts with fixing what's underneath. 🏡✨

This home had significant wood rot and exterior damage that needed attention. After addressing the damaged areas and giving the home the care it needed, the finished result brought the entire exterior back to life.

It's a great reminder that exterior painting isn't just about changing a color. Proper preparation, repairs, and restoration can make a huge difference in both the appearance and longevity of your home.

FAQ: What can I use to clean a painted surface? 🧽🫧🤔

Regular cleaning can help keep your painted surfaces looking their best, but using the wrong cleaner can potentially damage the paint.

When cleaning painted surfaces, choose a non-abrasive cleaner. For waterborne paint, avoid ammoniated products. In many cases, mild, soapy water is all you need. It's also a good idea to test your cleaning solution in an inconspicuous area first to make sure it doesn't damage the finish.

A little care can go a long way in keeping your freshly painted spaces looking beautiful. ✨

You don't need a major renovation to make your home feel completely different. 🍂🏡

A fresh coat of paint can instantly change the mood of a room, whether you're looking for something warm and inviting, soft and calming, or rich and dramatic. Pair a new wall color with a few simple seasonal touches, and you can create a space that feels fresh and cozy without taking on a full remodel.

Sometimes, a little color can make a big difference. 🤩
