It’s that time of year again when the Texas heat starts exposing problems that have been building up all winter.

I’ve already been on several A/C service calls this season that could have been prevented with simple maintenance. One of the biggest issues we see is restricted airflow from dirty filters. When filters aren’t changed regularly, your system has to work harder, efficiency drops, and components can fail prematurely.

This capacitor is a good example of a part that often fails during the first big heat wave because the system has been under extra strain.

Mold & Drywall Repair Complete

We recently wrapped up a ceiling repair project involving water-damaged drywall and mold remediation. After identifying and removing the affected materials, we treated the area, completed the necessary drywall repairs, matched the existing texture, and finished everything with fresh paint.

Projects like this require more than just covering up the damage. Proper preparation and repairs are key to ensuring a clean, lasting finish that blends seamlessly with the surrounding ceiling.

Update - Office Conversion Complete!

What started as an open front room is now a beautiful, functional home office for one of our excellent customers.

Like many remodeling projects, we ran into a few unexpected hiccups along the way. That’s just part of construction. The difference is working through those challenges and delivering a finished product everyone can be proud of.

We’re making great progress on converting an open front room into a dedicated home office for one of our excellent customers.

The new wall has been framed, insulation has been installed to help reduce noise transfer, and a solid-core door is in place to provide privacy and a more professional workspace.

So far we’ve completed:

✅ Drywall hanging

What started as an outdated tub surround received a complete transformation. We removed the existing shower walls, installed new backer board, waterproofed the surround, and finished it with a stunning feature tile wall. Another Slab Leak Problem Solved! 🔧

Today our master plumber completed a hot water line reroute, eliminating a leak that was hiding under the slab. Instead of tearing up floors and concrete, he rerouted the line and got the water back where it belongs.

Next up, we’ll repair the drywall, clean everything up, and leave it looking like we were never there.
