Did you read the list?

There is a ton of overlap in the industry that leads to home-owner confusion, expensive mistakes, and trade frustration. We wrote this article to hopefully clear up any confusion and provide a guide on when to hire and interior decorator vs. an interior designer! :D

Interior designer or interior decorator? Learn the difference, what each one actually does, and who you may need for your Salem or Willamette Valley renovation.

We didn’t just design this yoga studio. We built the details too.
(More photos to come very soon)
This yoga studio needed to feel calm, welcoming, and intentional from the second you walked through the door. So we designed the space around that feeling, then built the pieces that made it work.
The curved reception desk was custom fabricated with fluted wood detailing and integrated undermount lighting, giving the lobby a warm focal point without making it feel heavy.
We also designed and built benches with dedicated shoe storage, created a merchandise shelving system, and finished the space with accessories and styling to pull everything together.
From interior design to custom fabrication, we love creating commercial spaces that look beautiful but also make sense for the people using them.

Our gratitude to powerhousehotyoga for trusting us and being such a delight to work with! 🙂‍↕️

You bring the "uhhhhh... Idk 😭" we will bring the "let's figure it out 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️"
Waiting to call a designer until you know what you want is a real silly goose move, that's our job! Whether you have an ideal vibe, a storage problem, a concept, or just need it to be different immediately: our job is to help.
Our renovation strategy consultation is 90 minutes of "what is possible? What makes sense? What frustrates you?" And we can guide you to the right next step weather it's a simple refresh or connecting with a contractor. It's only $225, and even if you don't hire us, you will have our designers organized notes to take with you and the confidence to move forward.
Ready to start the conversation? Send us a lil message, email [email protected], or visit our website for more information!

Renovating is weird because somehow you’re supposed to know who to call before you know what you even need.

Designer? Contractor? Cabinetmaker? (don't even get me started with the other trades that will need to coordinate) Cool, very intuitive, lollllllll.

The short version: if you know your space isn’t working but you don’t know what actually needs to change yet, a designer is usually a really good place to start.

If you already know what you want built, a contractor may be the better first call.

If the main issue is cabinetry, storage, built-ins, or custom woodworking, call a cabinetmaker, and for bigger renovations, honestly, it’s usually a team effort anyway.

If you’re stuck in the “I know I want to renovate but I have no idea where to start” phase, that is exactly what our Renovation Strategy Consultation is for. You’ll leave with a clearer direction for your project, practical next steps, and Andi’s organized notes to keep and use moving forward, even if you don’t hire us for the full project.
