The Stonebridge Project 🎬🛣️

This one took a little more than just paving. 👀

The crew started by milling the road down deep to get to the source of the problem, then rebuilt the area with heavy stone, graded everything back out, and finished it off with fresh base and top layers. 💪🪨

And of course, the weather had to make things interesting. 🌧️ The crew pushed through the rain and kept the project moving until the road was built back the Slonaker’s way.

From prep to pavement, this one was all about fixing the problem underneath so the finished road could hold up where it matters. 🚧🔥

Not every job is as CUT-and-DRY as the next, and this road in Stonebridge (Martinsburg, WV) was certainly no exception.

We CUT into it, but didn’t stay DRY! The crew fought through the pouring rain to pull off this project. From milling it down DEEP to find the source of the problem, to grading and filling it with heavy stone, and finally laying the base and top layers.

The issue they were experiencing was identified and handled the Slonaker’s way to help ensure a long-lasting road built to handle the traffic.

This driveway got the full treatment. The old surface came up, the area was prepped and rebuilt, and the crew finished it off with a brand-new layer of asphalt from start to finish.

Now THAT is a transformation. 👀

Take a bird’s-eye look at the before and after from our recent project at Berkeley Springs High School!

This one called for a 2-inch mill and fill, removing 2 inches of the existing surface before putting 2 inches of fresh asphalt right back down.

360 tons of asphalt later, these long stretches have a completely new look from above. 🔥
