Our crew was on-site cutting dense chromium oxide furnace blocks using a specialized concrete chainsaw - not your everyday cutting job! Chromium oxide is an extremely hard, heat-resistant material commonly used in high-temperature industrial furnaces because it can withstand intense thermal conditions and corrosion that would destroy standard materials.

A few things that make chromium oxide interesting:
▪️ Known for its incredible hardness and durability
▪️ Commonly used in refractory and industrial applications
▪️ Resistant to chemical wear and extreme heat
▪️ The same compound is also used in green pigments and high-end polishing compounds
