I don't think AI can ever replace thoughtful design done by a human. It is undoubtedly a useful tool to help a client imagine the reality of their space. A beautiful design turns into a beautiful rendering.

Even when provided with all of the data, AI makes mistakes that a human brain will catch. There are several very obvious mistakes (to me) in this AI rendering. Can you find them?

AI can help you find inspiration and it can help you improve a rendering. But don't let it design your house for you. A skilled designer will help you make sure it's perfect when you build it.

"AI belongs to this world of necessity. It is bound by the inputs we give it: code, training data, prompts. It has no imagination. It needs our imagination to function." - Andrew McDiarmid

This is just a small taste of what you can find inside this gorgeous new spec house built by A&S Homes.

Becca Lee Roberts Design offers design consultations and no-commitment design packages! Many homeowners get to a place where they feel stuck with their design, the construction cost is too high, they no longer like the layout, or they simply don't know where to start in the first place. It is a pleasure to help my clients through this "what do I do next" phase.

Consultations and no-commitment design packages are an ideal option for the following clients:
- You have ideas in mind but don't know where to start
- Have a plan and design you no longer love
- Need a preliminary design to obtain early pricing
- Construction cost is coming in too high and you need to revise your plans
- You want to figure out your home design but you're not ready to commit to an architect or drafter for the long haul
- You want help from an experienced professional to figure out the basic design of your dream home but full scope architectural design services aren't in your budget

Reach out to schedule a design consultation today!

Maybe you just need basic conceptual massing or maybe you prefer a full photorealistic rendering to truly understand the potential of your design. Love the mountain feel of this clubhouse I designed for a developer. It's always a great challenge to design something that is both expansive and cozy at the same time.
