Is that a toilet in the bedroom? 😄
Yes… yes it is!

This property is listed through another brokerage and has been sitting on the market for a long time. The sellers reached out to Mr. Remodeler for a little “fluff-and-buff” magic.

We’re removing the toilet from the bedroom (always a solid starting point 😂), remodeling the shower, and giving the laundry room a fresh new look. Even minor updates like these can boost the asking price and help a home move faster—especially with a clean, modern bathroom transformation.

We absolutely love how this one turned out. The before-and-after photos speak for themselves!

Our original plan was a full bathroom overhaul, including a new vanity and countertop, but we adjusted the scope to stay within our client’s budget while still giving them the essential upgrades they needed right away. Flexibility is one of the things we pride ourselves on — making the most impact without breaking the bank.

✨ What we completed:
• Removed the old cast-iron tub and outdated wall panels
• Replaced inefficient insulation
• Installed a new toilet fl**ge
• Installed all-new vinyl flooring
• Added a new toilet
• Custom-tiled the shower surround, complete with a built-in shampoo niche
• All completed in under 10 days!

When the time is right and the budget allows, we’ll be back to finish the vanity and countertop upgrade.

Another beautiful deck project in the books!

We had the pleasure of transforming Bob & Audree’s outdoor space—removing their small existing deck and replacing it with a spacious 16’ x 25’ deck, complete with a pergola roof and clear panels so they can enjoy the outdoors year-round, rain or snow!

Another huge remodel—this time in Lakeside! We were honored that Ashley and her family chose Mr. Remodeler to renovate their grandma’s home and get it ready to become an Airbnb.

This project had a little bit of everything:

• New flooring throughout the entire home, complete with new baseboards.
• Washer/dryer upgrade: We modified the existing laundry closet to accommodate a standard side-by-side washer and dryer—much more user-friendly than the old stackable setup.
• Open-concept flow: We removed the wall separating the dining room and living room to create a more spacious, cohesive layout.
• Kitchen transformation: The original island was too close to the refrigerator—so tight that Grandma couldn’t get by in her wheelchair. We refinished the existing cabinets, removed the old island, and built a larger, better-placed island with plenty of room to move around on all four sides. It now has great entertaining space and even includes a pull-out trash system for convenience.

We were blessed to complete this deck project for Marilyn — and holy Hannah, it needed some love!

The original deck had multiple issues:
• Undersized footings
• Undersized and widely spaced joists
• A ledger board that was only nailed to the home (not secured or flashed properly)

Even from a realtor’s perspective, this would’ve been a major red flag on an inspection report. The roof structure had also sagged significantly — over 3 inches on one side and more than 2 inches on the other!

Our team safely jacked up and supported the roof system, removed the entire existing deck, and built Marilyn a brand-new, larger, completely maintenance-free deck featuring Trex decking and Trex metal railing.

Even though we only added four feet, the new layout feels like it doubled the usable space!

Held a very serious early-morning executive meeting with my Partner, John John.
Agenda: Trout, trash talk, and Mr. Remodeler world domination.

Location: Glacier National Conference Room (a.k.a. a riverbank at sunrise).
Attire: Waders and bedhead.
Breakfast: Protein bars and broken dreams (the fish were not impressed).

We may not have landed any monster cutthroat trout, but we did reel in some fresh ideas… get it!?! lol ….and possibly early-onset frostbite.
