We are husband & wife photography company based in Kailua Kona, Hawaii! Josh started the company in 2002 in Colorado while pursuing Mass media/photography degree for 5 years. Miho joined the team in 2008 after completing her Fine Arts Degree in California. It is the way life generally is and we enjoy storytelling life in that way. We focus our photography on texture, emotion, color, and adding fre

sh perspectives to our work while capturing the spirit of the subject. We have over 500 weddings under our belt and also enjoy portrait, commercial and editorial work.

Black Beauty is not simply a story about a horse. It is a story about the soul—about remaining gentle.

He moves through life belonging to many, yet always carrying something within him that no one can truly own. He knows freedom, friendship and love. He also knows loss, cruelty and the quiet ache of being misunderstood.

And still, he does not become what has hurt him.

There is something deeply human in that.

Black Beauty reminds us that strength is not always found in fighting back. Sometimes strength is carrying the scars of where you’ve been without allowing them to harden your heart.

And in the end, he finds peace.
