Botta bing botta boom!

Or however you spell that phrase. Anywho! Took this home by the bay’s rutted out mess of a driveway, to “Cinderella before the clock strikes 12” driveway! We found some halfway usuable asphalt still remaining underneath the rubble and decided to make good use of it! Also gave the water a place flow to other then the driveway.

This particular organization that owns this property needed some paths made for an “in case of emergency” type of situation to get around to the front of the home from the back. So, we made some paths from back to front! 😄 Even made a nice little level spot for their picnic table and chairs so the residents can go outside and have a nice flat spot to hang out at when the weather is nice!

Finally wrapped up and on to the next project! A bunch of new rock walls, new yard, 7 garden beds, 30 concrete steps, and 200+ yards of material brought in. And last night a bear decided he wanted to leave his footprints in our freshly raked topsoil. 🤦🏻‍♂️

We will be coming back in the spring to topcoat the pads with possibly some washed rock or some other decorative type of material. Upcoming plans for the new area are a green house, fire pit, as well as a play set for the cute little Princess of the home! More to come in just a few short months!

Thankfully we got the topsoil laid out before the impending rainfall tomorrow! Overall things are coming together nicely. The big transformation is still taking place on the other side of the property and we can’t wait to cut in the last staircase, set the remaining rock walls up, and set up 3 garden beds.

We had the pleasure of working alongside Austin at Holdfast Construction as they demo’d the old deck on this customers home and are installing a new one with trex style decking. The old one was very much on its last leg, and this new one will certainly stand the test of time! Very clean work and very professional!

Was going through some old photos and came across these! I was working full time for the state at the time, and I got these guys during covid to simply mess about in my yard. Next thing you know I was delivering gravel out of that little trailer for $35 a trip. I would have never guessed where this was going to take me! We have diversified and added a ton of equipment to the fleet over the past few years, and it’s simply crazy to me that it all started out with these little pieces of equipment. We’ve certainly come a long way in a very short time and I’m simply grateful for all our amazing customers that helped us on our journey!

This morning we got an opportunity to assist Glacier State Contractors move one very large log for Tlingit and Haida over to UAS to be carved in to an ocean going canoe! Can’t wait to see how it turns out!

Well, sadly the massive amounts of rain we’ve been having has put us very far behind on our calendar. However, we will certainly be back on track shortly and will follow up with everyone!

It’s not all doom and gloom on what is suspected to be a wet and blustery Friday though! I mean, it is Friday after all and that’s rarely a bad thing! More clear weather is on the horizon and that’s something we can get behind. Plus, there is a crispness in the air to remind folks that they can officially start their yearly pumpkin spiced addictions! 🎃

Great news folks! We just picked up a spare snow plow blade for the upcoming season. That means I probably jinxed us out of getting any actual snow this year! With that said, sorry to those that enjoy it. And “you’re welcome” to those that don’t enjoy it!

We will be starting a go fund me to accept donations for the my new yard decoration starting soon out of gratitude for the minimal snow amounts I now expect. 😂

This was earlier in the week when we started a full on landscape remodel. We have a long way to go! However, it’s going to be awesome! Multiple terraces, exposed rock faces in multiple areas all across the property, and these precast concrete steps scattered about. It will be quite the transformation when it’s completed!
