Looking back over the last six months, all I can say is wow. Transforming a home from top to bottom is never easy, but watching this project come together has been incredible.

I’m so proud of our team at Jacobson Builders, as well as the suppliers and trade partners who put so much heart into this build. And to our clients…you were absolute dream partners every step of the way. Thank you for trusting us with your home!

Down to the final checklist on Phase 3. The big stuff is behind us with the new HVAC, plumbing, and paint all finished up. Now it’s onto getting custom beams set, chandeliers hung, and a few last countertops put in place.

In just a few weeks, we’ll be handing over the keys to this beautifully transformed home, and we can’t wait for the final reveal!

Moments like this make you step back and just appreciate the process. Zero view wasted, quiet water, and birds chirping all morning. Put your sound on for this one. 🪵🕊️

New favorite room in the house doesn’t even need a ceiling☀️☕️

Great deck build for some awesome clients in Montgomery, MN

12 years. That’s how long these Savage homeowners went without a deck, but they finally have their own outdoor spot just in time for summer.

Here at Jacobson Builders, this is exactly why we do what we do. We love building spaces where families can hang out and make memories for years to come. This deck was definitely worth the wait!

The Woodland Revival is moving right along.

Drywall and textured ceilings are officially wrapped up, which completely changed the feel of the space. Right now, the guys are rolling right into the finish work-trim is going in and we’re getting the custom cabinets set as we speak.

It’s a fast-moving phase, but seeing the layout finally lock in makes all the prep work worth it.

Our Woodland Revival remodel is full steam ahead.
Demo is done and the vaulted ceilings are framed in, which completely changed the feel of the house. This is the phase where the design really starts to take off.

At Jacobson Builders, we love getting our clients on-site during this stage. It's one thing to look at a blueprint, but it's another to walk the gutted house and map out exactly where every outlet, light switch, and plumbing fixture will live. We use this time to show them how all the "guts" of the house work together before we close up the walls.

In just a few weeks, this place will look completely different with drywall, trim, and everything else going up.
Seeing the vision click for the homeowners is the best part of the job. Happy to be working with

Here at Jacobson Builders we’ve always felt that if you do the work right, the room should speak for itself. This remodel was about stripping away the noise and focusing on a few really good materials that actually belong in a home this nice.
It wasn’t about changing the character of the house, just giving it a space that finally catches up to the rest of the home. It’s a much better way to start the morning.

Mornings in Chanhassen just got a serious upgrade. 🛁 We are obsessed with how this custom reeded vanity in deep forest green anchors the room, but the real magic is in the mix of materials. From the way the light catches the wavy glass shower tile to the timeless look of the marble floors, every inch of this space was designed for that “spa-at-home” feeling. ✨
