Are golden hour jobsite photos the best jobsite photos? 🌅📸

I wanted to see the progress after the open-web steel roof joists went up at the Mountain Motorsports project being built by BurWil.

I think showing up right before sunset was the right call. What do you think?

“If you’re there to photograph the insulation, why take a picture of the outside?”

Well, it gives the photos some context.

The outside shows people where the work is happening. If they recognize the building or the location, they have a reason to stop and look through the rest of the photos.

And if the company truck or van is visible, they can connect it to the work happening inside. It reinforces who’s doing the work while building brand recognition.

Sometimes, the photo that doesn’t show the actual work is what helps tell the story of the work.

It’s not stalking if someone is paying you to take the photo.
