Some job sites make you stop for a second and look around. This is definitely one of them.
With the Vermont mountains stretching out behind us, this home is starting to rise out of the foundation. The crew has been setting floor trusses, installing beams, framing the stairwell, and slowly turning what was once a set of plans into something you can actually stand in and walk through.
Of course, building rarely happens in one perfectly straight line. Measurements get checked, layouts get adjusted, and sometimes you go back and fix something before moving forward. That’s part of the process, and part of getting it right.
There’s still a long way to go, but seeing the first pieces of the floor system come together against a backdrop like this makes it pretty easy to imagine what it’s going to feel like when someone gets to call this place home.
Safe to say, the future homeowners are going to have a pretty incredible view.
