I just took this batch of Banana Butter out of the canner. It goes great on toast, biscuits, oatmeal, and some even love it on saltine crackers! 😄 If you'd like to learn how to make it, I'll post the video in the comments below.

I planted field peas from the grocery store in my backyard vegetable garden. I thought they were bush plants, because I thought that most farmers grow bush varieties for ease of harvest. Well, I thought wrong. Some of the vines are over 10 feet tall. I just saw the 1st signs of production on them today and I planted them on April 28th. I'm anxious to see how they produce.

Let me know if you know any info about commercially grown field pea varieties. The package is literally labeled "field peas." They're smaller than black eyed peas.
