A lot of folks ask what L2P stands for and why I started it. 🔨

The short version: I've walked a hard road, and I came up in homes that were falling apart and didn't feel safe. I know what it means to want better. So I built a company that brings old-school standards back to construction while creating second chances for people who need them. Building homes and rebuilding lives. That's the whole mission.

This is what owning the couch looks like, and we wouldn't have it any other way.

Here's the thing though: a home should work for everybody who lives there, four legs included. When we plan a space, we think about the real stuff, durable floors that survive the zoomies, easy-clean entryways for muddy paws, room for everyone to pile in and relax.

People ask my honest opinion all the time, so here it is. 🏡

If I were renovating my own place in Florida, I'd put my money into the exterior first. Good siding and proper sealing protect everything inside and quietly lower your energy bills in this heat. The pretty stuff matters, but a home that's tight with a good foundation and protected is what lets you sleep easy when a storm rolls in.

The lowest bid almost never ends up the cheapest. I've walked into too many homes to fix work that was done fast and cheap the first time, and the homeowner ended up paying twice. A fair price from someone who communicates and does it right beats a rock-bottom quote every time.

Cheap isn't the same as honest. Ask me how I know. 📲

Honest answer: it depends on the scope, the permits, and what we find once we open things up.

But here's what I can promise. We'll give you a realistic timeline upfront, not a fantasy one to win the job, and if something changes, you'll hear it from us right away. The builders who overpromise on speed are usually the same ones who disappear halfway through. We'd rather tell you the truth and then beat it.
