Hi Everyone! Well our Kick-Off Fundraising event is coming up on Memorial Day Weekend for Kindred red Souls United Mutual Aid Center here in Jacksonville NC. We are looking to hand out gift bags to Veterans and would like to accept donations to fill the gift bags. These bags are given out to introduce our Veterans to our first project which is the Brian’s Dream Project, Comrade Connections to help the Veterans in need in our local Community. Another part of our Community Aid Center is to help build and promote local small businesses and Artisans. Hey all! I'm a local small veggie farmer with veggie plants that are all organic, non gmo and no pesticides, all grown from seeds! The plants I have now made it through the crazy Feb weather and are ready to go. I have roma tomato, LG vine tomato, cucumbers, green peppers, banana peppers, hot peppers, cyan peppers, butter lettuce, carrots, summer squash, cilantro, parsley, chives and mystery plants..lol all plants are $3 I also have raised garden boxes for sale by Walter..he can custom make any box you will need, raised or ground level...we deliver and we can fill with dirt and plant if needed! Looking for something bigger? We have a mini excavator with driver that can come dig a garden as big as you like..for more info just let me know!

Organic spray to keep bugs off of veggie plants non-pesticide.

Oil Spray: Mix 1 cup of vegetable oil with 1 tablespoon of mild liquid soap. Add 2-8 teaspoons of this mixture to 1 quart of water and spray your plants as above. The oil in this spray smothers the insects so it is effective on aphids, thrips, mites, and scale.

YUM!!! Roasted garlic is the best! You can use the oil for cooking, spread the garlic on bread, use as a dipping oil or what ever you like it is Amazing and garlic is good for you! It may reduce blood pressure, boosts gut health, anti-cancer properties and is an anti inflammatory! Also keeps the vampires away!Lol

Preheat oven to 400.
Peel most of the outer layers of garlic bulbs. Cut off the tops to expose cloves.
Drizzle each garlic bulb with a but of olive oil and tightly wrap each in aluminum foil.
Place bulbs on a baking sheet and roast 35-40 minutes. Allow bulbs to cool enough to easily touch, then peel gently peel cloves.
