In just two days, our team transformed this 3,400 sq ft commercial garage in Palatka, FL, with the stunning custom flake, Opal. Here’s how we did it:

1. Floor Preparation: Grinding and patching for a solid foundation.

2. Base Coat: Rolling out our durable Polyurea base.

3. Flake Broadcast: Adding a full broadcast of flake for that perfect finish.

4. Finishing Touch: Scraping excess flake and applying our polyaspartic top coat to ensure longevity.

Welcome back to the Checkmate Family 🧡 Meet Logan Pihl, our talented installer here at Checkmate Coatings! He recently moved back to sunny Florida, and we’re thrilled to have him as part of our family. Here’s a little more about him:

After moving back to Florida, Logan was drawn to the opportunity to work outdoors. ☀️ He loves being part of a team that values quality and craftsmanship. Before Checkmate, he was a firefighter in Oregon!

Some fun facts to know about Logan:

• He has an adventurous and brave spirit—he fought fires in the Grand Canyon! 🔥
•When he’s not on the job, you can find him snowboarding and skating. 🏂🛹 Swipe left to check out some of his epic tricks in the videos above!
• He recently visited St. Kitts and Nevis to see his girlfriend, and he’s also hoping to hit the slopes in Canada soon!

Summer is almost here and our team is BUSY! 📈

With our garage and patio installs completed in just ONE DAY, the guys don’t stop. 🛑 They will get the job done the right way, in a timely manner, even if that means opening their phones to A LOT of notifications at the end of the day (mostly from their marketing girl bothering them for more awesome content … again 😬).
