I need to share a story. Yesterday I was reroofing a garage for a customer and it was taking its toll. Hot, tired, and physically worn out, I realized I needed assistance to push to the finish line.
With one call this crew, the Osborne Craftsman Co., came over and cleaned up the site as I buttoned up the roof, getting us all home for dinner.
This is what we are all about. Family. Working together when we can to accomplish something great and honor God while we do it.
When the van pulled into the drive I celebrated and thanked God for the unending support of my wife and kids on this crazy construction journey.
Did it look really strange to have a bunch of kids on a worksite? Yep. Was there some fighting and crying? Yep. But was it awesome? Absolutely.

It has been a little bit since I’ve posted, but a lot has been going on. This remodel project has been a great learning experience on strange ways to build a house (the entire ceiling is structural 4x5 tongue and groove rafters…no attic or insulation) it took a full tearout, but the new kitchen is almost done!

One of my favorite solo projects recently. Homeowner had half a barn and a chicken coop and wanted to finish it off to cover the coop and other items. Set the structure, tied it in, and then built three sliding doors to turn the whole end into accessible bays. Quite the learning experience, but couldn’t ask for better clients and weather for the whole build!

One of our first big projects, before Osborne Craftsman Co. was even a glimmer of thought. However this kitchen remodel was what opened the doors of possibility for my wife and I. The beginning was a scary step of demo, the middle was exhausting, the final product was celebratory.
