I’m going to start taking a limited number of furniture refresh and refinishing projects.
This piece came to me worn, dry, scratched up, and needing some attention. It was still a solid piece of furniture with good bones, though, so I cleaned it thoroughly, prepped the surface, and gave it a fresh protective finish. I am really pleased with how it turned out.
I am not trying to become an antique-restoration shop or take on every piece of damaged furniture in town. I am looking for solid wood pieces that are worth saving and need a fresh look.
Good examples would be:
• Dining tables and table tops
• Coffee tables, end tables, and entry tables
• Benches and blanket chests
• Solid wood cabinets, consoles, and dressers
• Butcher-block tops, mantels, and built-ins
• Solid wood furniture that is scratched, faded, dry, worn, or just dated
I can handle cleaning, surface prep, light sanding, finish refreshes, and minor wood repairs when needed.
I am not offering antique or heirloom restoration, historical preservation, upholstery work, laminate/MDF repair, major veneer repair, or major structural rebuilding.
Furniture refresh projects start at $225. Full refinishing or repair work is quoted individually based on the size of the piece, its condition, and what it needs.
If you are in the Jackson, Tennessee area and have a solid wood piece that needs a second life, send me a few pictures along with the dimensions and what you would like changed. I will let you know honestly if it is something I can take on.

Just finished up these custom shutters. Red Oak with a rich dark outdoor sealer/stain for year round protection. Made 2 sets and they came out great

Finished up this 15-inch walnut and black epoxy centerpiece piece and decided to offer it for sale.

It is solid, 1½ inches thick, and made to be used.

It would look good on a dining table, kitchen island, coffee table, bar, or entry table.

I can also add a Lazy Susan base underneath if someone wants it to rotate.

$150 local pickup in Jackson, TN.

So happy to finish this 24 x 30 shadow box for a client today. This is made with red oak and cherry splines for joint strength. Love the way the woods work together
