🌲 Small trees. Big risks.

Today we removed two trees that were growing over the roofs of homes. These weren’t storm-damaged trees, and they weren’t large—but their location created the potential for damage to the roof, siding, windows, and structure if they were left unaddressed.

Removing a tree over a home takes considerably more care than simply cutting it down. Travis climbed the trees and even worked from a slick roof while using ropes and rigging to carefully control and lower limbs piece by piece. When you’re working directly above a roof, windows, and siding, every single cut and where the limb goes afterward—matters.

Sometimes the safest approach is taking care of a problem before it becomes an emergency or causes expensive damage!

🌲 Not every tree job is just “cutting down the tree.”

This fire-damaged tree overlooking the South Fork of the Snake River presented multiple hazards. Months after the fire, the weakened trunk was leaning directly over a pump, electrical equipment, and a nearby power line. One wrong cut could have resulted in significant property damage—or worse.

🌲 Another Technical Removal Completed Safely! 🌲

Our crew at Backcut Tree Service tackled a challenging tree removal at Palisades Creek Lodge. This tree was heavily overhanging the structure, requiring advanced climbing techniques and technical rope rigging to safely dismantle and lower each section without causing damage.
