Spend a Day in the Life with Juan David Porras Navarro, our Sr. Electrical Superintendent! 👉

Currently, Juan is overseeing the electrical scope of a massive utility-scale solar project.

His team just successfully completed medium voltage (MV) terminations and is now transitioning into a critical phase: DC collection terminations at the inverters and load break disconnects.

It’s a phase where coordination, quality, and ex*****on must align perfectly.

But for Juan, being a Sr. Superintendent is about more than just managing the technical complexities in the field.

"What makes this role interesting is the balance," Juan shares. "On one side, it is leadership and accountability. On the other, it is highly technical problem-solving with our engineers. But one of the most rewarding parts of my role is seeing the people around me grow."

Juan takes immense pride in mentoring the next generation of leaders, watching foremen step up as general foremen, seeing Juan Guillermo and David Lorenzo develop into future superintendents, and watching his field engineer, Francisco, grow into project management.

Having been with the team since the early stages, Juan’s impact goes far beyond the megawatts we install.

He is helping build the strong systems, people, and culture that will last long after the project is energized.

America’s first and only vertically integrated solar factory is officially online! 🏗️

We’re proud to announce that Qcells has begun manufacturing solar cells at our Cartersville, Georgia facility.

Once fully ramped, Cartersville will be the only facility in the United States producing the major components of a solar photovoltaic module, from ingot and wafer to cell and finished panel, through a domestic manufacturing network.

That’s why team members from , Qcells North America, EnFin by Qcells, and Axia by Qcells came together at Laguna Beach, CA to celebrate with a beach cleanup.

Some people collect souvenirs from family vacations. Madison Hughes collected a passion for protecting the environment.

This , we’re celebrating our Associate Director of Environmental for helping ensure we build clean energy projects responsibly while protecting the landscapes and communities around them.

Long before she was helping guide environmental strategy for utility-scale EPC projects, Madison was road-tripping across America with her parents, exploring National Parks, hiking scenic trails, and discovering the beauty of the natural world one adventure at a time. 🏔️🌲

Today, that same curiosity and appreciation for nature fuels her work at .

Outside of work, Madison continues that tradition with her own family, sharing a love of nature, exploration, and the great outdoors with her young son.
