Heartbreak Woodworking Fine furniture. Hand-turned bowls. Carved signs. Custom-designed pieces. In recent years, Rick added carving and bowl-making to his woodworking repertoire.

It all started when Rick took a high school woodworking class and made a mahogany table that is still in use in his house today. After adding to his shop tool-by-tool over the years, he started to build fine furniture pieces that have become cherished heirlooms for friends and family. Turning bowls of all shapes and sizes, Rick prefers to work with locally sourced wood whenever possible, crafting

bowls for friends who have lost treasured trees in a storm or creating birthday and wedding gifts that family can pass down through the generations.
