Homes are a labor of love and this home got just that!

After finding the incorrect type of insulation in the floors joists, which created a sponge for moisture and the perfect storm to rot floor joists, we removed everything and did it right!

After removing almost everything we decided to reconfigure the space to better fit the customers wants/needs.

- Raised ceiling height in master bedroom & added a Mitsubishi Casette

- reconfigured master bathroom to add a tub & walk-in closet

By adding built-ins throughout, we were able to increase the amount of storage.

From the 1850's to an open concept dream home!! We just wrapped up a large renovation/addition blending historic charm with modern living!

This beautiful house had great bones, but was a bit cramped and had a dated layout that didnt work for the customer anymore. The original structure, presented unique structural challenges to open up the space but alas we created a bright, flowing living area while preserving the homes unique character!

By removing the old horsehair and plaster we were able to identify the key needs structurally to keep this home alive for centuries to come!
By adding multiple steel beams, columns, footings and underpinning the foundation we were able to tie the existing structure into the new additions flanking the rear of the home on either side.

To top it off a few of the upgrades we added-

* beautiful new cabinets with interior and undercabinet lighting
*heated tile floors for those cold new england nights!
* New Anderson French door
* (2) New Anderson sliders with built in blinds
* (8) New windows
*Heated tile floors
* White oak herringbone floors

And many more!

The clients now have a spacious, light filled open layout that is perfect for entertaining & daily life!
