What an amazing project. So glad Smock Fansler was a part of it.

Just outside the Indianapolis Motor Speedway stands a beautiful tribute to Hoosier pride. A sweeping reflective metal wall features images of racing legends and track life, while bold yellow 3D letters spell out the beloved lyrics of the classic song:
The new mown hay sends all its fragrance…
Back home again in Indiana…
And it seems that I can see the gleaming candlelight still shining bright thru the sycamores for me.
Set in a peaceful, landscaped area with grassy hills and stone walls, this installation perfectly blends nostalgia, racing heritage, and Indiana spirit.
A must-see photo spot for race fans and visitors alike — a heartfelt reminder of why we always come back to the Speedway. 🏁

Smock Fansler is very proud to be a part of this project!

The Town of Speedway is undertaking a roundabout project at the intersection of 16th and Main Streets, near the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. This project, part of a larger redevelopment and beautification effort, aims to improve traffic flow and safety, while also enhancing the area's gateway presence. The roundabout will replace the existing stoplight-controlled intersection and will be named in honor of four-time Indianapolis 500 winner Al Unser Sr.
