PERMITTING 101🧑‍🏫

Did you know that permitting can take up to six weeks depending on the county you live in! Here in the Indianapolis metropolis, Marion County has the longest wait times for permitting and utility connection!

There's different permits for different counties but most new homes require a building, structural, electrical, plumbing, septic, and or driveway permits. Most require plans, plot plans, deposits or bonds, and contractor licenses.

Having a home builder that includes permits and takes care of all the red tape behind them is ESSENTIAL if you want your build to go smoothly and progress on time.

Our owners have worked in 9 different Indiana counties for 30 years and are well acquainted with the planning and building commission staff at each!
