Look for:
Dents or holes in your siding
Dents on gutters, vents, or trim
Granules piling up in your gutters
Missing or curled shingles
Water stains starting inside

Idaho wind, heat, hail, and sudden summer storms can loosen shingles or expose small roofing problems that are easy to miss from the ground.

Take a quick walk around your home and look for:

• A shingle sitting higher than the others
• Shingle pieces in the yard or gutters
• New dark or uneven areas on the roof
• Water stains appearing after rain

Please don’t climb onto the roof. Photos taken safely from the ground are enough to start a conversation.

Winter is hard on a home around here. It is hard on your roof, it is hard on your siding, and it is brutal on your gutters.

The good news is that all of it is fixable right now, in the middle of a dry Idaho summer, while our crews can actually get up there and do the work properly.

The bad news is that once the snow sets in, it is not hard anymore, it is impossible. It just waits until next year.
