After the 2015 floods on Lake Lewisville, Cottonwood Creek Marina tried bridges, shuttles, and plywood walkways. None of them held up. In 2016, we built 140 ft of floating walkway and handrail from the parking lot to the gangway.

When the lake rises, the walkway rises with it, and the marina adds or removes sections depending on how high the water gets.
10 years and several floods later, their 400 boat slips are still reachable.

Texas summers are no joke.

One thing many waterfront owners don’t think about until they’re barefoot is how hot the dock surface gets.

Traditional materials like wood, composite, concrete, and aluminum can absorb and retain a significant amount of heat in direct sunlight.

EZ Dock is made from UV-stabilized LLDPE, which is designed to stay much closer to the surrounding air temperature and cool quickly when it comes into contact with the water.
