Seeking Installation Technician

Sentry Security is a growing security and technology company serving residential and commercial clients throughout the area. We specialize in custom security systems, surveillance cameras, access control, networking, and audio solutions.

We are looking for a hardworking, self-motivated individual who takes pride in quality workmanship and wants to grow in a skilled trade.

This is a hands-on position installing security systems, cameras, network cabling, and related technology in homes and businesses.

Responsibilities

• Install surveillance cameras, alarm systems, access control systems, and networking equipment
• Run and terminate Cat6 cable
• Mount TVs, speakers, and other technology hardware
• Use power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently
• Work in attics, crawl spaces, and on ladders
• Maintain clean and professional job sites
• Communicate clearly with team members and clients
• Follow company procedures and safety standards

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Self-motivated and dependable
• Ability to use power tools and hand tools
• Basic understanding of construction principles
• Basic understanding of networking concepts such as routers, switches, and IP addressing
• Willingness to learn and be trained
• Valid driver’s license
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must be eligible to be registered under Sentry Security’s Texas Class B Security Contractor License

What Sentry Security Will Provide

• Sentry Security will pay all required registration fees under our Texas Class B Security Contractor License
• Sentry Security will provide and pay for all required training needed to obtain and maintain registration
• Hands on field training with experienced technicians
