Onto Tuesday and smiling!
Media chicks new day job is well...the transition has started, Muscle&Brains is trying to adjust...
Minis are off to their school adventures, one in her 2nd week the other starting today.
And guess what?
Roof. The roof is well its not on fire for those that started singing that song in their head...Media chick did. Chalk it up to the days of cheerleading maybe.
Anyway I'm rambling.
Yesterday Muscle&Brains and the Ginga Ninja gave a barn roof new life and some extra years!
A little paint is good for the soul...or the hay/straw/animals/tractors whatever may reside underneath!

Summer is quickly winding down and Mother Nature is swiftly bringing in signs of fall....
Those chilly autumn evenings when there's no sports to go watch, are perfect to sit outside and just enjoy the change of seasons!
The boys just finished one this week.
They had helped another crew do the concrete patio underneath a few weeks before.
I've said it before and I know I'll say it again...these boys will come together whenever needed to help get a job done!

When some of the boys get together you never know what to expect! ...Each of these boys will forever be part of Fox Mettle.
Building this homestead over the last year has brought us new friendships that are cherished, lifelong friendships brought back around and all are forever now family...
Not all the boys made it in time to throw on a grass skirt or some coconuts...and Media chick didn't hardly have her phone so....
Even Ted the Dog got in on the fun for awhile!

Chimneys eventually do start to deteriorate...Mason's unfortunately are becoming fewer and farther in between.
Insert some kind of Mike Rowe "Skills gap is growing too fast" type statement here and he's 100% correct.
These boys aren't afraid of a little mason work or concrete work in this example....
A new poured cap and the chimney is good for another few dozen years!
And yes...yes...That is a Whipple in the Wild caught by a dear friend! 🤣
