Sometimes a plumbing job gets a little worse before it gets a whole lot better.

This project required us to open up the front yard and get access to the main sewer line. We replaced the remaining section of old pipe with PVC, added an exterior cleanout for easier future service, addressed the connection going toward the septic system, and then put the property back together when the underground work was finished.

The first photo shows what it takes to get the job done.

The second photo is what we want the homeowner to see when we leave.

We know nobody wants their yard dug up. When excavation is necessary, our job is to do the plumbing correctly, keep the disruption as reasonable as possible, and leave the property looking like somebody cared about it.

That’s the Brock Mechanical way.

A finished shower can look great, but the work behind the wall is what makes it last.

This is a new-construction shower rough-in we’re working on. Before the walls go up, we take the time to make sure the valve, piping, and layout are set where they need to be.

You only get one good chance to do this part right before everything gets covered up.

That’s why we measure, check, and make sure the rough-in is ready for the next phase of the build.

A lot of the plumbing in a commercial building is installed long before the building ever starts looking finished.

This project is a good example.

Once the concrete is opened up, the underground piping has to be laid out correctly before everything gets covered again and the rest of the construction moves forward.

This is the kind of work where planning ahead matters. Once that floor goes back together, you want to know the plumbing underneath it was done right.

Commercial plumbing is a big part of what we do at Brock Mechanical.

Once the wall is closed, nobody sees this part of the bathroom anymore.

That’s why we pay attention to it now.

The valve, water lines, fittings, and connections behind the finished wall all have to work together for years after the tile and trim go on.

Good plumbing starts with the work you won’t see when the project is finished.

On this job, getting to the issue meant digging down along the foundation and exposing the underground plumbing so we could see exactly what was happening.

It isn’t glamorous work, but this is part of plumbing too—find the problem, get access to it, and make the repair correctly.

Sometimes the best way to explain the work is simply to show it.

This water-service setup had reached the point where it was time to clean things up and make the system easier to operate and service. We replaced the older piping and shutoffs with a much cleaner arrangement and updated connections.

The finished work may be tucked away where most people never see it, but this is exactly where good plumbing matters.

Real job. Real Brock Mechanical work.
